Yeah, that white bumper was killer. :toothless

The only problem now is, when we're down at the far end of the track its not so easy to pick him out. Usually you could just look for that bumper smiling in all its bright-white glory. ;HistericalSmiley

she's fixin' to get a magnum 360 and a whole new driveline... gotta find an 8.75 though, and build the engine. right now it has a set of 360 J heads i'm about to remove and mill .060 off the bottom for my poor little 318.... i threw them on completely stock, dropped my compression WAY low.
all original car- 54,000 original miles. her name is Janis. and she is a 1972 plymouth scamp.

my buddys' cars-
not a good shot of my friend mike's challenger there, but here's mike sr's 440 dart drag car- there was a portable dyno at this show, and this one won against many an overconfident chevrolet. old school drag racer, put most of this car together from scratch. :D

Aah, young grasshoppa, there is much to learn about The Mels. ;) I've been around my fair share of MoPars. Truth be told, I can appreciate anything that looks good and sounds good. I got beside a mid-80s Chevy pickup the other night, Jet Black, chrome Torque Thrust IIs and just enough cam to sound good. I instantly put the window down a little further and quieted the radio to enjoy the happy lopey-lope of the small block. A true gearhead can appreciate all makes and models. ;)

this is my first love-

Nice Scamp. My brother has the shell of a '70 Swinger that started as a restoration, but life got in the way and it's just stripped and being pushed from one spot under cover to another. Maybe one day. :(

Honestly, with the right tune, those 440+6 will flat run off and leave a Hemi.

So you're pretty pleased with it? What kinda mileage does it get around town? I'm tired of the little Fusion and will be lookin for a truck this summer and had thought about one of those four-door Dodges.

Yes I love that truck Mel. My mechanic who works at a Dodge dealership wanted to buy it from me awhile back but I wouldn't sell it. So he bought one with MDS. Thats the only thing I would suggest looking for and wish mine had it when looking at the Hemi. The MDS actually does work. Around town and that is stricly stop and go only. I can get about 11.2 -11.5 I filled up yesturday thats how I know. :brownbag . Interstate I get 16 and have seen 17 but that was running 65 on flat ground. I dont consider that to be that bad out of a 3/4 ton 4x4 with about 600 pounds riding around in the back of the truck. With MDS you add about 2 mpg to those numbers. Bought to trade out of it though. Looks like a diesel is the line up for company work. I really do hate to get rid of it though.

Well I no longer own the Dodge anymore. Wasn't really for sale but a guy offered me more then what KBB value on the truck was for and I couldn't turn it down.

ah drag racing it is something i know about haha.. coming into mud trucks i leave 7 years of drag racing behind.. i miss my 2 old dragers myself.. one is not mopar one is hehe.. i guess you could call my old 71 raodrunner a mopar haha she was sweet i miss her greatly.. had the 440 in it haha

and my biggest love of all was my 68 z28.. 383 stroker she was insanly beautiful.. had to sell her to pay doctor bills.. least my dad bought her from me.. "doctor bills" being from the roadrunner.. hit a oil slick just after the 8th spun into the left lanes wall from the right lane.. totaled the front end and destroyed the engine.. cage done its job up to a point then it collapsed under the preasure.. happeend at silver dollar a couple years back.. love the mopars gguys look grea.
